BASILThai
Nudle Bar

This charming restaurant takes its name from the renowned Thai Basil or bai horapa, a lusciously fragrant herb which generously enhances Thai fare, seafood dishes in particular. Thai basil has lush, deep green leaves, purplish flower buds and stems and carries anise overtones to its sweet basil scent.

Located in the recently refurbished and renamed Bangsar Village, Basil is an ideal venue to sample quick meals, power lunches with business associates, while delighting in traditional Thai hospitality. This unique noodle bar with its red and orange ambience offer patrons ala carte dishes while also providing a selection of single bowl/plate fare.

One's senses are immediately assailed by the wafting aromas that permeate the restaurant and just like its namesake, Basil adds some much-needed distinction to Thai restaurants in general. Offering a smorgasbord of tantalising green and red curries, spicy stir-fried dishes, with sprigs of Thai basil generously used as a flavour enhancer and garnish, Basil is already acquiring a well-deserved reputation for being one of the foremost Thai restaurants in the Klang Valley.

Basil is sure to grab lots of attention due to its location in one of KL’s most exotic locations, Bangsar. As such, patrons can also watch the sights and sounds of Jalan Telawi while they delight in some truly sumptuous fare.
