Bowling enthusiasts can now look forward to a new bowling centre – Ampang Superbowl at Berjaya Times Square. As Malaysia’s largest operator with 14 centres nationwide comprising of 376 lanes spread over 8 states, Berjaya Times Square is the flagship centre. Touted to be the largest Ampang Superbowl in Malaysia, the centre has a total of 48 lanes and is the one and only bowling arena to be equipped with 42” Plasma monitors for each lane.

The bowling centre is also furnished with fine state-of-the-art AMF machines which are reputed to be the best in the world. These AMF machines are used to set the bowling pins, the ball return units and scoring systems. Ampang Superbowl at Berjaya Times Square will be the 1st in Malaysia to use special oiling machines by Kegel from the United States to clean and oil the bowling lanes. This system does not need the support of an operator as it is able to run by itself.

Apart from that, Ampang Superbowl features a member’s lounge that is fitted out with wireless internet facilities and a pro shop. Avid bowlers can sign up for a membership that entitles them to special rates for both games and pro shop items. The bowling centre also has a restaurant which serves a variety of meals and has a seating capacity of over 80 people. With the best of all things bowling under one roof, Ampang Superbowl at Berjaya Times Square will definitely prove to be Malaysia’s premier bowling centre.

Owned and managed by Royel Departmental Stores Sdn Bhd, which is a part of Nadin Group of Companies, it started operations in 1994 and has since branched out its operations from the retail sector into the bowling industry under its current trading name – Ampang Superbowl.

The first bowling centre opened in Ampang Point Shopping Centre in 2000 and since Royel Departmental Stores Sdn Bhd has fast expanded into Malaysia’s largest chain of bowling centres. To date, the company owns and operates 13 bowling centers with 328 lanes in 7 states throughout Malaysia with over 300 staff.

These bowling centres have been the venue for many state, national and international tournaments. All the bowling equipment at the bowling centres are of the highest quality and standard and the company invests generously into both the improvement and the upkeep of the bowling equipment at all their operating centres.

Weekends : RM6.50 per game (10 frames)

Weekdays : RM4.50 per game (before 5.00pm)
